Tina Stallard carried out an in-depth study of five teen mothers, showing their pregnancy, the birth of their child and their first months of motherhood. They are among the 39,000 teenagers who become pregnant each year in Britain, which has the highest rate of teen pregnancies in Western Europe. The photographs give a revealing account of their lives and how they cope with the transition to becoming mothers. The work was published as a cover story in the Sunday Times Magazine.
